David Fischer I recently commented on the importance of expectations. Desolate Endscape lured me into a trap, being a record so damn good I always tend to terraform my surroundings into the cover artwork when listening to it. Thus, I expected greatness from Chimaera and, unfortunately, got disappointed. Yet, Chimaera is good. Furthermore, it sounds good. Filling 1/3 of an album's runtime with 4 year old songs ain't good. Nevertheless, it's good enough for me to buy it two times. Favorite track: Gorgonhead.

Foreverglade is obviously heavily inspired by dISEMBOWLMENT's masterpiece Transcendence Into the Peripheral. But Worm do plenty enough on their own to differentiate themselves from them Olde School homies. This stuff is Murky, Gross and very good. It's got a good clean sound to it, all the nasty riffs and inhuman vocals are very audible. Damn good stuff fo sho. Heterodontosauridae
